MY PERSONAL JOURNEY

CHAPTER 1
MIDWEST AND SPORTS

I grew up in Kansas City and like my siblngs, I played basketball, volleyball, tennis and soccer so sports informed my view on life, teamwork, discipline, celebration, getting up when you are down, leadership, commraderie and friendship!

CHAPTER 2
KU SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM

I am a super proud Jayhawk. While I was there, I majored in Journalism, was a GPhi, got fired from being a bartender and giving out too many free beers and I fulfilled my first dream of studying in London and backpacking Europe.

CHAPTER 3
LA AND ADVERTISING

I followed my college sweetheart to LA and worked in advertising at TBWA\Chiat\Day while we were agency of the year and Team One, traveling the globe managing shoots for Lexus. I met my best guy friend and now mentor from Australia.

CHAPTER 4
COLORADO AND BLUE MOON

I moved to Denver, bought and renovated a cute craftsman style house and helped launch Blue Moon beer on behalf of The Integer Group and Coors. My sister lived with me for a minute until moving to Jamaica for a dude ;)

CHAPTER 5
PARIS OFFICE AND INTREPRENEUR

I moved to Paree for three years to help Integer grow their European presence. We worked on P&G, Absolut and growing our global portfolio. I learned the importance of cultural nuance in business as well as the true art of wine, fashion and holiday time!

CHAPTER 6
NYC OFFICE & FORK IN THE ROAD

I helped Integer launch their New York office on Madison Avenue, working on Kraft, new business and shopper marketing. I ate my way through the west village, hit every Broadway musical I could and experienced the glorious Hamptons.

CHAPTER 7
THE ENTREPRENEUR WORLD

After advertising, I wanted to be creative and follow my passion. I did a blog, I created an entrepreneur show and I moved to Stockholm to be the CMO of a tech start-up. I definitely earned my entrepreneur stripes with tons of learnings!

CHAPTER 8
THE BRAND TERMINAL

I went back to global advertising for a few years as a strategist at SelectWorld whilst working on my side hustle - an agency without borders. I launched TBT to give clients the best talent from around the world at a fraction of the cost. I was ahead of the curve before COVID, and grew slowly.

CHAPTER 9
AUSTRALIA HUB

After several years of building The Brand Terminal with clients in the US and Europe, I expanded to have an Australian Hub with Tim Holman. We met during COVID and developed our partnership 100% virtually. Our team down under are incredible rock stars of humans and global talent.

CHAPTER 10
PERSONAL BRANDING

My true passion has always been psychology. This is what I studied in my free time since grade school. So I finally combined brand building with self development to launch B2P: Brand to Person. I codified a process for developing personal brands called The Flight Path.

CHAPTER 11
BOOKS AND SPEAKING

My biggest fear in life used to be public speaking and now I do precisely that for a living! The first speech I did was the single most impactful hour of my entire career as I was speaking from the heart and I stayed for hours answering questions and connecting.

CHAPTER 12
DEGREE IN HAPPINESS

I’ve been obsessed with positive psyschology forever so I finally took the leap and am getting a degree in happiness studies from HSA. I want it to help me be a better brand coach for people and it lights me up to be a lifelong student.
